It took me 6 - 7 days to finish this painting which is a lot for me. Normally I finish a painting in one or two sittings, often in-person. So this one is epic by comparison. I did this one using a reference photo I took from the terrace of the New Museum looking down at the Bowery in New York City. The Lower East Side is my favorite Manhattan neighborhood.
