Having spent the summers on Lake George in the Adirondacks in upstate New York I fell in love with the many birches trees that grew around the lake. Whenever I see birch trees it always brings me back to fond childhood memories. This painting shows a group of birches next to Echo Pond on Peaks Island, Maine
